It is both the crowning achievement of famed designer Pete Dye and design consultant Jack Nicklaus, and a perennial favorite among PGA TOUR players, as it places a premium on finesse, imagination and shot making, rather than strength.
Featuring a collection of par threes ranked amongst the world's finest and a par-4 18th hole considered one of the most feared in all of golf, Harbour Town Golf Links has undergone many recent enhancements, including new Celebration Bermuda grass for the fairways, new TifEagle Bermuda grass for the greens and a new irrigation system.
Heron Point by Pete Dye
A MODERN MASTERPIECE BY A CELEBRATED ARTIST
Designed by legendary course architect Pete Dye, Heron Point is the centerpiece of any Hilton Head Island golf vacation. Dye himself supervised Heron Point's recent modifications with the objective of making the course more player-friendly, and the result is an award-winning stroke of genius.
At 7,035 yards from the back tees, Heron Point can play considerably shorter if needed, with seven sets of tees on each hole (including tees for juniors). Golfers are challenged by risk-reward long and short holes, fairways that move toward and away from hazards and Dye's ubiquitous mounding and swales framing target areas.
Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III
NGCOA'S “NATIONAL COURSE OF THE YEAR”
Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III is a complete reconstruction of The Sea Pines Resort's historic Ocean Course, the first course built on Hilton Head. Featuring a pronounced seaside ambiance and Lowcountry feel accented by coquina shells and seaside grass, it incorporates elements of the surrounding beachfront along with the area's bounty of native pines and oaks lining the fairways.
Atlantic Dunes benefits both visually and strategically from the restoration of natural sand dunes, as well as the creation of new dunes that blend seamlessly into the design. Tens of thousands of indigenous plants have been installed in these areas to complete the seaside feel, while the playing surface is a blend of cutting-edge grasses matching the superior strains of The Sea Pines Resort's two other acclaimed courses.

Fraser's Tavern
Located in the former Live Oak restaurant inside the beautiful Plantation Golf Club, the resort's newest dining option offers a casual atmosphere to enjoy lunch, dinner or drinks with family and friends or your favorite foursome. The tavern-inspired menu includes a wide selection of unique salads, pizzas and handhelds made with locally sourced ingredients, along with craft beer on tap.
Inviting and relaxed, the open dining room and bar now features booths, leather furniture, TVs and dartboards with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide breathtaking 270-degree views. Outdoor seating is also available.
The Quarterdeck, Waterfront Dining
Located next to The Sea Pines Resort's iconic Harbour Town Lighthouse, The Quarterdeck, Waterfront Dining offers both indoor and outdoor seating with stunning sunset views over the sparkling waters of Calibogue Sound.
Specializing in fresh, local ingredients, The Quarterdeck is famed for its “fish market” selections, featuring a large variety of fresh seafood including local South Carolina shrimp, oysters, jumbo lump crab cakes, daily catch and much more. Quarterdeck's enticing menu also offers steaks, sandwiches, salads and a great selection of appetizers.
Harbour Town Bakery & Cafe
Nestled amidst majestic oaks, and located across from the Gregg Russell Harbour Town Playground, the Harbour Town Bakery & Café is known throughout Hilton Head Island for its breakfasts, soups, salads and pastries baked fresh daily.
Guests can dine in and enjoy the bakery's cozy, old-world charm, relax outside at an umbrella-shaded table, or pick up a meal to go.
The bakery's breakfast menu features a variety of delicious items, such as the Banana Walnut Pancakes, famous Southern Breakfast, quiche of the day, corned beef hash with eggs and more. Specialty coffees and teas, as well as cappuccinos, lattes and espressos, are also offered.
The bakery's lunch menu features a wide selection of tasty offerings from grilled Reubens, Angus burgers, pizzas, wraps and made-to-order deli sandwiches, to fresh entrée-sized or side salads and delicious soups. A kids menu is also available.
